Mayuka is the daughter of Tenchi and Yuzuha, after some clever gene mixing. She was created to seek revenge against Yosho and family. Though Tenchi didn't know that at first, he willingly allowed Mayuka to stay at the Masaki Household. Mayuka tries to be a very devoted daughter to Tenchi, insisting to follow him everywhere, including the bath. Mayuka can be seen as both a blessing and a danger to Tenchi.
